Position Opening-WCL Business/Finance Manager


Business/Finance Manager needed at Whitman County Rural Library District in Colfax. This Full time position coordinates all financial and business operations for a busy system with 14 FTEs and multiple locations. Starting salary range is $41,000-$52,000 per year with full medical, dental, retirement and annual leave.
Duties: Fiscally sound practices in cash management, payroll accounting and management of employee benefits, accounts payable, BARS accounting, budget development and oversight, financial records and reporting, grant management and reporting, state and federal reporting, audit accountability. Financial duties extend to the Library Friends and Foundation. Work closely with Library Board, Director, and staff; liaison with outside agencies, funders and auditing agencies exhibiting excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business and/or demonstrated success in book-keeping, accounting and/or financial business management.
