Bike Rodeo-July 5

Whitman County Library is teaming with the Colfax Police Department to host a Bicycle Rodeo on Tuesday, July 5 at 4:00 p.m. Kids of all ages are encouraged to bring their bikes to the Baptist Church parking lot where they will take part in a host of fun and important free activities.


Whitman County Library is teaming with the Colfax Police Department to host a Bicycle Rodeo on Tuesday, July 5 at 4:00 p.m. Kids of all ages are encouraged to bring their bikes to the Baptist Church parking lot where they will take part in a host of fun and important free activities.
During the rodeo, officers will lead children through an obstacle course and teach them proper biking rules and safety measures. All bikes and helmets will be inspected. If a child has outgrown their helmet, or they don’t have one, a new helmet will be provided courtesy of the Grandmother’s Club.
Besides the safety instruction and fun of the bike obstacle course, Whitman Hospital’s Child Passenger Safety Technician will be on hand to answer any questions adults may have about car seats and invite you to take advantage of a free car seat safety checks.
Please keep the children in your life safe by bringing them to Colfax’s Bicycle Rodeo on Tuesday, July 5 at 4:00 p.m. The location is at the Baptist Church parking lot at 200 North Mill Street or you can contact Sheri Miller at the Whitman County Library at 397-4366 or www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
