All Branches – Closed – All fourteen branches of Whitman County Library are closed but our website, catalog and online librarian are always available for your convenience.

Colfax – 3:40 – 7:15 p.m. – Rising Stars Summer Dance Classes – Summer Dance classes through Rising Stars Dance Studio.  Rising Stars Dance Studio is owned and directed by Instructor Keri Oldroyd. 

Ages 3-5 - Trio of Ballet, Tap & Tumble and Jazz from 3:40 - 4:20 p.m.

Ages 3-5 - Trio of Ballet, Tap & Tumble and Jazz from 4:30 - 5:10 p.m.

Ages 6+ - Trio of Ballet, Tap & Tumble, and Jazz from 5:15 - 6 p.m.

Ages 8+ - Trio of Ballet, Tap & Tumble, and Jazz from 6:10 - 7:10 p.m.

St. John – 11a.m. -1 p.m. – Tech Monday – offering computer and digital device help for adults.

Tuesday, August 9

Colfax – 10 -11:30 a.m. – Snap Circuit Fun - Electricity, motors, resistance, capacitors, transistors, meters, and integrated circuits OH MY!  Curious kids ages 10 and up are invited to learn about electronics with the fun filled Snap Circuit Kit.

Wednesday, August 10

Colfax – noon -1 p.m. – Work Source Washington Presentation – Bring your e-mail address and learn about WorkSourceWA.gov.

St. John – 2 – 4 p.m. – Coloring and Calming - fun filled coloring and easy crafts! The library will provide everything you need for creating a calming jar.  Bring your own coloring book or try something new out of the coloring pages provided.  We will have colored pencils, markers, and crayons.  For more information call 509-648-3319 or visit the library calendar at www.whitco.lib.wa.us.

Colfax – 7 p.m. – PJ Storytime - Join Ms. Nichole under the tree in Hayden's Corner for this fun, family storytime!  Wear your PJ's and bring your favorite stuffed animal to snuggle while we sing and read great bedtime stories!

Thursday, August 11

Rosalia – noon – Book-nic – bring a sack lunch and a blanket to the park next to the library, for lunch, games and great books!

Albion – 4 p.m. – Usborne Books – Come join us for a craft and an information session about Usborne Books. Get a good look up close at the popular, interesting Usborne Books for kids and partake in a fun craft too! This is purely informational; no books will be sold at this event.
