Photos of area barns are being accepted for an upcoming edition of the popular Barns of Whitman County calendar. Steve Van Vleet of Whitman County Extension has prepared the calendar for almost a decade with all proceeds benefiting the Friends of Whitman County Library. While Steve normally photographs all of the barns himself, he thought it would be fun to seek contributions from area residents and photographers. Having photos of the barns in different seasons is ideal. The calendar goes to print the end of October and goes on sale the end of November.
