STEM Programs

STEM Programs for Kids & Teens at WCL

Whitman County Library is a helping students all over the county attain technological and computing skills. Digital literacy is important for college and careers in this new electronic age. WCL is providing kids and teens with employable, high demand technological skills! We provide LEGO Robotics, Coding Camps, traveling STEM kits, and STEM bags for checkout! Toddlers to teens can learn Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics at WCL!  

CHILDREN & TEEN TECHNOLOGY EVENTS COMING UP: 


LEGO Mindstorms EV3 - Robotics, basic programming, and robot challenges!(6th grade and up). Colfax Library Tek Center - March 29, 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. & Malden Library - April 3rd, 1 - 3 p.m.

Technology Tuesdays - Colfax Library Tek Center. April 4, 1 - 3 p.m - Kids that Code - Students can drop in to do online coding or work with one of our STEM Kits. (4th grade and up). April 11, 10 - 11 a.m. - Toddler Tech Time - Bring your little ones to this new interactive reading experience. Enjoy OverDrive Read-Along eBooks with pictures, narration, and text highlighting, music, and STEM stations!


Coding Camp - New laptops, new apps! Morse Code project,  LED Lights, and making music! St. John Library, April 5th 1 to 3 p.m.
