Winterfest, Santa Claus, FREE hot cocoa at the Library December 5

'Tis the Season to be Reading
Lots of wonderful holiday events coming up at Whitman County Library

Winterfest comes to Colfax on Thursday, December 5 with Santa Claus, Festival of Trees, a lighted Main Street parade, fireworks, store specials, and more!

Santa will hear children’s gift requests at the library from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Complimentary photos will be available from photographer Ally Sterman or parents can snap their own.

At 6 p.m., Santa rolls down Main Street as part of the lighted parade, culminating in an explosion of fireworks from atop the town’s hillside.

The Festival of Trees takes place in The Center inviting visitors to vote for their favorite tree, browse the stunning artwork, enjoy free hot cocoa from Whitman Hospital, and participate in kid’s activities. Adults can purchase a chance to win a variety of prizes from the “12 Ways of Giving” Tree sponsored by Pioneer Title Company. All proceeds benefit children’s library programs countywide.
