Make attractive garden markers

Are you looking for a unique way to identify the plants in your garden? Learn to make attractive crop markers from spoons with Judi Gray of Whitman County Recycling on Weds, May 29 at noon in the Colfax Library. All materials will be provided in this free workshop and participants are welcome to bring a sack lunch if they desire.

Whitman County and Moscow Recycling along with a group of concerned citizens have formed “A Greener Palouse” to provide these and other classes free of charge throughout both counties. The goal is to educate citizens about recycling and creative ways to save our environment by reusing household items that would normally be thrown away.

For more information about the event, contact Judi Gray at 397-5213 or visit Whitman County Library’s Events Calendar.
