Join Susan Russell, acclaimed artist and educator at the kickoff program for Meet the Artist on Thursday, September 12 at 7 p.m. in the Colfax Library. Russell’s presentation, called ABCDelirious teaches how the symbols of ancient marks became contemporary letterforms that comprise our 26-letter alphabet. Russell works in many art mediums, with this presentation featuring lettering art, oil, pastels, pen and ink.
Russell teaches art to both adults and children, so her presentation will include an activity geared toward those 11 and older.
