WCL Calendar Sampling April 24-May 1


Thursday, April 24
Palouse – 3:45 to 5 p.m. – After School Homework and Game Time – The Center for Civic Engagement (WSU) students will be available to assist 4th graders and up with their homework. Afterwards, there will be time for board and/or video games.

Friday, April 25
St. John – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – St. John Fair – Visit the library at the fair. Kids stop by the booth to spin the wheel for an awesome prize!
Malden – 2 to 4 p.m. – Kathleen Haley from Whitman Medical Center is available to help you plan for your medical future – including a lead discussion about living wills and advanced directives.

Saturday, April 26
Colfax – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Family Fair in Pullman – Join Whitman County Library for the 18th Annual Family Fair at the Lincoln Middle School.
St. John – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – St. John Fair – Visit the library at the fair. Kids stop by the booth to spin the wheel for an awesome prize!

Sunday, April 27
Colfax – Rob Smith Art Exhibit – Watercolor exhibit by Rob Smith is featured in the foyer of the library for the month of April. Besides watercolors, Rob creates animations, editorial cartoons, websites and videos. Visit his website at www.robsmithstudios.com for more information.
St. John – Noon to 4 p.m. – St. John Fair – Visit the library at the fair. Kids stop by the booth to spin the wheel for an awesome prize!

Monday, April 28
Colfax – 10 a.m. – Senior Sneakers with Karen Lindren – For cost and registration, contact Karen at (509) 285-4673 or kklindgren23@gmail.com
Colfax – 6 to 8 p.m. – Boot Camp with Carissa Little – For cost and registration, please email Carissa at purefitpersonaltraining@gmail.com

Tuesday, April 29
Farmington, Palouse & Rosalia – Storytime - Bring in the little ones for fun stories, songs and more every Tuesday. Visit our Events Calendar for times and themes.

Wednesday, April 30
Uniontown – 4:30 p.m. – Craft Night – Create cute scarves out of t-shirt material. Adults of all ages are welcome.

Thursday, May 1
Colfax – 7 p.m. – Meet Marsha Parish – Learn how Marsha embellishes clothing, purses and other items. She also knits, beads, dyes and creates other fine and wonderful fabric modification techniques.
