Adult & Teen Summer Reading - 2014

Adult and Teen Summer Reading 2014 Overview

Reading just got more lucrative for Whitman County adults. Now all adult finishers in the library’s Summer Reading program will be included in a grand prize drawing for a $50 Rosauers gift card courtesy of the Friends of Whitman County Library.
To enter, adults just need to read and briefly review 3 books by August 29. Besides the countywide grand prize drawings, finishers will receive a variety of prizes from local business sponsors. Entry forms are available at all 14 branch locations or online from the Whitman County Library website.
Teens Summer Reading also continues through the end of August, with grand prize being a $50 Amazon Gift Card.  Three short book reviews submitted online or in person is all that’s needed for entry. Additional prizes and drawings for teens vary by branch location.

Who says Summer Reading is just for kids? Certainly not the Whitman County Library. Adult/Teen Summer Reading kicks off on June 1 and continues through August 29. All 14 branches offer special programs designed to meet the interests of each community.

A countywide program is also being offered to WCL patrons. Read or listen to three books, write a brief review to win a prize and be entered in a drawing for both local and countywide prizes. The teen prize drawing is for a $50 Amazon Gift Card. The adults may win a $50 Rosauers certificate. Entry forms are available at every branch and on the Whitman County Library website. Forms may be submitted online on the Whitman County Library website or dropped off at your local branch. Call toll free 877-733-3375 for details.
