WCL Calendar Sampling Sept. 11-18

Thursday, September 11
Palouse – 3:45 to 5 p.m. – After School Homework and Game Time – The Center for Civic Engagement (WSU) students will be available to assist 3rd graders and up with their homework. Afterwards, there will be time for game time.

Friday, September 12
Endicott, LaCrosse & St John – Storytime – Bring in the little ones for fun stories, songs and more every Friday. Visit the online calendar for times.
Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Playgroup – Creative play and sharing for toddlers, preschoolers and parents every Friday.
Colfax – 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Dance Class – Child and teen dance, ballet, jazz and more by Ana Maria Sears. For cost and registration, please call (509) 338-0809.

Saturday, September 13
Tekoa – 10 a.m. – Putting Your Garden to Bed – Donna Guske returns to Tekoa to show gardeners how to prepare trees, shrubs and perennials for the winter.
Palouse – 11 a.m. – Magician Dick Frost at Palouse Days – Free magic program for all ages.
Garfield – 1 p.m. – Fall Gardening – Donna Guske shares her gardening wisdom on how to take care of perennials, pruning and more!

Monday, September 15
St. John – 5:30 p.m. – Local Author Returns to St. John – Bruce Holbert introduces his new book “The Hour of Lead” which spans a period of about sixty years and takes place in the Grand Coulee area, Davenport and Colfax. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing.
Tekoa – 6 to 8 p.m. – Parenting Wisely Online Class – Tekoa residents who have registered to take the class can get extra time and expert help. Snacks will be provided.
Garfield – 6:30 p.m. – Card Making with Darcie Bagott – Join us for a fun evening of card making. Open to ages 12 and up. Pre-register with Sarah at (509) 635-1490 to ensure we will have enough supplies.

Tuesday, September 16
Farmington & Palouse – Storytime - Bring in the little ones for fun stories, songs, crafts and adventures every Tuesday. Visit the online calendar for times.
LaCrosse – 3 p.m. – After School Program – Join your friends at the library for a fun after school craft.

Wednesday, September 17
Endicott – 10 a.m. – Fall Gardening – Donna Guske shares her gardening wisdom on how to take care of perennials, pruning and more!
St. John – 1:30 p.m. – Fall Gardening – Donna Guske returns to St John! Gardeners will learn how to prepare perennials for the winter, and how to select new ones to plant in the cool of the fall.

Thursday, September 18
Colfax, Colton & Farmington – 3rd Thursday – Exciting after school program in three locations. Check the calendar for times and themes.
