Thinking of buying your first digital device or upgrading from an eReader to a tablet? Whitman County Library is taking the Washington State Library’s digital menagerie on a county-wide tour between March 5 and 16. According to Community Services Librarian Clancy Pool, “This is a chance test drive over 20 different devices. Kindles, Nooks, ipads, and small laptops are just some of the wide range of technology toys available for a hands-on experience during the open house programs.”

The following week WCL is offering eight fun workshops to help casual or experienced genealogy buffs use online resources to explore family history.
