Friday, May 29

Colfax, Endicott & Uniontown – Preschool Programs – Early learning with books, singing and crafts for ages six and younger.  Check the calendar for times.

Rosalia – 7 to 9 p.m. – Family Game Night – Fun and games as families gather to play board and card games.
Saturday, May 30

Oakesdale – 9 a.m. – Selling Online – Go through the steps of getting accounts set up and posting items.  Please feel free to bring your laptop.

Sunday, May 31

Whitman County residents of all ages are encouraged to participate in our Summer Reading program. Summer Reading signup for youths or completion forms for teens and adults can be accessed from the library’s website or by stopping in at any branch of WCL.                                                    Monday, June 1                                                                                                                         Oakesdale – 3:15 p.m. – Teen Blackout Poetry – Create poetry using book page, newspaper, ink and water color.                                                                                                                                  Tuesday, June 2                                                                                                                             Colfax and Palouse High Schools Comics Can Take Us Places – Cartoonist Megan Kelso explains how she uses memory, her own life, research, and photo references to create graphic novels that evoke the feeling of a specific, inhabited world. Funded by Humanities Washington and Whitman County 4-H. Visit the online calendar for times. Colfax – 11 a.m. – Friends of WCL business meeting- public meeting of the library advocacy group.                                                                   Wednesday, June 3                                                                                                                       Rosalia and Oakesdale Schools Comics Can Take Us Places - Cartoonist Megan Kelso explains how she creates graphic novels. Funded by Humanities Washington and Whitman County 4-H. Visit the online calendar for times. Malden – 12 to 6 p.m. – Book Sale – Bargain books for your personal library.  Proceeds support branch programs.                                                                             Thursday, June 4 Endicott and St. John Schools Comics Can Take Us Places – Graphic novelist Megan Kelso demonstrates her artistic process. Funded by Humanities Washington and Whitman County 4-H. Please check in at the school office. Colfax – 7 p.m. – Zumba with Jenna Miller – Latin inspired cardio workout. Try your first class for free.
