Thursday, June 18

Endicott – 5:30 p.m. – Watercolor Art – Teens are invited to experiment with artistic watercolors.

Endicott – 7 p.m. – Book Club – Join the discussion of Helen Cooper’s, “The House at Sugar Beach.”

Friday, June 19

Garfield – 11 a.m. – Father’s Day Craft – Kids are invited to make a special treat for dad. Free for all ages.

Saturday, June 20

Colfax – 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. – Hatha Yoga with Suzy McNeilly – Collection of 26 physical postures, combined with breathing exercises designed to strengthen and align your muscles, organs and spine. Try your first class for free!

Albion – 12 p.m. – BMX Bikes with Sole Far – Join Sole as he demonstrates his skills and the importance of bike safety.

Monday, June 22

Colfax – Yin & Balance Yoga with Suzy McNeilly – Gentle movements, aromatherapy, restorative poses and guided relaxation. Free for ages 65 and older. $5 for ages 64 and younger

St. John – 10 a.m. – Junior Summer Reading for younger children with activities and crafts.

Colton & LaCrosse – Every Hero Has a Story – Kids of all ages are invited to our summer reading programs. Check the calendar for times.

Tuesday, June 23

Colfax – Lego Contest for Grades K-12 – Create an original Lego design incorporating this year’s theme “Every Hero Has a Story.” Submit your project by June 22; displayed until June 26.

Palouse – 9:30 a.m. – Animal Heroes with Veterinarian Dr. Andrea Edwards and the Whitman County Humane Society

Endicott – 11 a.m. – Super Foods with Whitman Hospital Dietician Tabitha Roach

Colfax – 4 p.m. – Superhero Science with Mobius Science Center

Wednesday, June 24

Malden – 12:30 p.m. – Summer Reading – Kids of all ages are invited to attend our programs.

Garfield – 1 p.m. – Join our local volunteer firefighters as we tour the fire station and trucks.

St. John – 1 p.m. – Brave Birds with the WSU Raptor Club

Uniontown – 1 p.m. – Superhero Sidekicks – Create your very own sidekick.

Colfax – 5 p.m. – Superhero America with T. Andrew Wahl – Explore how historical events and shifting social mores can be seen in the evolution of characters from Wonder Woman to Spider-Man. Sponsored by Humanities Washington and Friends of WCL.
