Thursday, August 13

Colfax – Noon – Flex & Flow Yoga with Suzy McNeilly – Pay by the month or by the class.

Friday, August 14

Colfax – 1 to 3 p.m. – Alzheimer’s Association Class with P.J Christo – Informative program on detection, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, treatment and much more.

Malden – 6:30 p.m. – Family Fun Night – Bring in the family and enjoy an evening together playing games.

Saturday, August 15

Uniontown – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Uniontown Flea Market – Come and support the Uniontown Book Sale! All proceeds will benefit the Uniontown Library renovation project.

Colfax – 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. - Hatha Yoga – Suzy McNeilly invites everyone to try their first class for free.  All levels are welcome.

Monday, August 17

Colton – 1 p.m. – Teen Wall Art – Learn how to turn a shoebox lid into fun, inexpensive wall art. All supplies are provided.

The Center in Colfax – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Caregivers Coffee Group with Melissa Johnson – All caregivers are welcome to attend. No registration is required.

Tuesday, August 18

Colfax – 10:30 a.m. – Supporting Independence as We Age – Informative and essential Q & A session about community resources, long-term care options, finding a caregiver and more. For more information, contact Rural Resources at (509) 332-0365.

Endicott – 6 p.m. – Technology Tips for Seniors – Class on simple technology tips, internet safety, identity theft and banking, and more.

Wednesday, August 19

Uniontown – 5 to 7 p.m. – Making Connections – Two programs to help mature adults make connections with the past and the future. Funded by Empire Health Foundation.

Garfield – 6 p.m. – Ladies Craft Night – Make a magnetic chalk board and a few button magnets. With school just around the corner this cute and easy craft will help you to stay organized. Please pre-register by Monday, August 17, (509) 635-1490.

Thursday, August 20

St. John – 11 a.m. – Teen Watercolor Art – Teen Librarian Nichole is back with a great art program for grades 5 and up. Learn various watercolor pencil techniques to create unique watercolor effects.

Tekoa – Noon – Game Day – Have some fun out of the sun with crafts, board games and Wii.
