Thursday, July 21
Rosalia – 10:15 a.m. – Final Inning – Join Kathy Wilkes to wrap up the kids' summer reading program with a fun and educational program about America's pastime...BASEBALL!
Tekoa – 12 to 1 p.m. – Summer Reading Olympics – Celebrate the success of completing your summer reading goals with a NERF gun Olympics competition. Hula hoops of dread, Minion targets, CDs of destiny, and many other great games.
Colton & Uniontown – 1:00 p.m. – Gardening for Healthy Living – Join horticulturist Donna Guske Hansen as she explores the health benefits of forming a relationship with Nature, whether the scale of gardening is a few potted herbs on a windowsill in an apartment or vast acreage at the Uniontown branch library.  For more information call the Colton or Uniontown library at 229-3887 or 229-3880 or visit the library calendar at www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
Colfax – 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. – INBC Blood Drive – You may save lives by donating blood at the Colfax Library location. For friends, family and many other patients, you are truly a HERO! St. John – 11:30 a.m. – Early Learning Summer Reading – Fun Summer reading event with Miss Trinette!
Malden – 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. – Teen Pennant Craft and Lunch – Middle and high school students are invited to the Malden library to create your own pennant and to share a pizza feast!

Saturday, July 23
Rosalia – 8:15 a.m. – Library Book Walk for Families – Meet at the library for a 30 minute walk around town for health and lively conversations about the books we are all reading!

Monday, July 25
St. John – 10:30 - 12 – Tween Messy Science –  Kids grades 4 – 8 come to enjoy science in a new way!  We will have a variety of experiments available, so wear your old clothes learn about science.  Contact the St. John library for more information at 648-3319 or visit the calendar at www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
Colfax – 6 - 8 p.m. – Adult Coding Camp – Adults come exercise your mind and learn computer programming in Coding Camp I!  Each adult will complete 6 LED light experiments using the Arduino platform during this 2 hour class !  Registration is required for this event since space is limited.  For more information or to register call 509-397-4366.

Tuesday, July 26
Colfax – 1 - 3 p.m. – Bingo and Pie – Seniors are invited to come enjoy a great game of Bingo and a slice of Pie downstairs in the meeting room.  
Farmington – 2:30 p.m. – Ready Set READ – This year’s theme is On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!  Join the libraries for fun and fitness!
LaCrosse – 6:30 – 8 p.m. – Adult Coloring Night – Come join us for an evening of relaxation and color.  Coloring has been proven to lower blood pressure.  So come for health reason as well as the fellowship.  Bring your own coloring pens and pencils or use the libraries.  Snacks provided.
Palouse – 6:30 – 8 p.m. – Hit a Homerun with Overdrive – Have you ever wondered how to download the library's audiobooks and e-books to your electronic devices?  Come to the library to learn how to use overdrive!  For more information call Bev at 509-878-1513 or visit the library calendar at www.whitco.lib.wa.us.

Colfax – 5:30 p.m. – Light Impact Exercise – offered for free by Lisa Johnson Shull this fun exercise class will keep you moving!

Thursday, July 28
Rosalia – 10:30 a.m. – Summer Reading Fun for Babies and Toddlers – Little ones and their grown-ups are invited to a special lap-time story hour at the Rosalia library. This program includes games, songs, and stories and is designed for fun, loving, and educational interaction between adult and child.
