WSU Raptors Come to Colfax Thurs. April 20!

Washington State University's Raptor Club descends upon the Colfax Library on next Thursday with their many majestic birds. All ages are welcome at this free, family program sponsored by the Friends of Whitman County Library.

Everyone is invited to the WSU Raptor Program Thursday, April 20 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.! Come to the Colfax Library for an after school science program most suited for ages 3 and up (and yes, that does include adults)! Fun, science, and snacks included!

The WSU Raptor Club, located in Pullman, is a non-profit volunteer organization founded in 1981, whose purpose is to educate the public about the conservation of raptors.  Special permits for non-releasable injured raptors allow the club to take these birds to a great variety of audiences such as libraries, schools, and service organizations for educational purposes. This club spares the lives of these magnificent birds and helps familiarize the public with living representatives of various raptor species.

For details, please call Sheri or Nichole at (509) 397-4366 or visit online at www.whitco.lib.wa.usJES students may ride bus 8 from the school to the library with a parental note.
