Whitman County Library closed for Annual Maintenance August 6-12

All 14 branches of Whitman County Library are closed August 6 - 12, 2018 for their annual maintenance week. During the closure, a number of projects will be performed that are difficult to complete when the library is open including new carpet in the Palouse Branch and the installation of gallery lights in The Center at the Colfax Library.

During the weeklong closure, due dates for library materials have been extended and no late fines will be charged. Book drops will remain open in all locations for customer convenience. Access to the library’s catalog, downloadable audio and eBooks, Rural Heritage and other resources will still be available by visiting the library’s website at www.whitco.lib.wa.us.

Libraries affected by the closure are: Albion, Colfax, Colton, Endicott, Farmington, Garfield, LaCrosse, Malden, Oakesdale, Palouse, Rosalia, St. John, Tekoa, and Uniontown.
