Child Care Technical Assistance Network (CCTAN): The Office of Child Care CCTAN is a great resource for training and technical assistance for states, territories, tribes, and local communities. Save as a favorite or bookmark their new website on your browser and check out opportunities awaiting for you!
  • FREE TRAINING! I-LABS Ready Mind Project: The Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences (I-LABS) has officially launched their Ready Mind Project, which is a new research and outreach campaign to accelerate the science of learning. They are offering free online training modules to explore the latest science of child development. The modules are designed to be useful for both everyday interactions with children and for informing systems-level programs and policies
  • CDC Essentials for Parenting: The Central for Disease Control launches a new tool, Essentials for Parenting, to help build a foundation of a positive parent-child relationship by addressing common parenting challenges and providing resources for positive parenting skills and techniques.
  • Preventing Learning Disabilities Early: Learning disabilities are due to a combination of weak cognitive skills, and can be prevented if identified early. Here are ways to recognize the risk factors and recommendations for parents and caregivers to reduce the risks for their child.
