WCL Calendar Sampling July 10-17


Thursday, July 10
Colfax – Noon – Gentle Yoga with Suzy McNeilly – Pay by the month or by the class.

Friday, July 11
St. John – 9:30 a.m. – Junior Summer Reading – A special reading program for younger children with activities and crafts.
Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & Learn – Creative play and sharing for toddlers, preschoolers and parents every Friday.
Uniontown – 10 a.m. – Lapsit Storytime – Infants age birth to 24 months are invited to nursery rhymes, tickles, songs and bounces.
Uniontown – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime – Share the excitement and love of reading, songs and craft time.

Saturday, July 12
Colfax – 1 to 3 p.m. – Book Signing & Presentation with Mark Hart -  Join poet and author of “Boy Singing to Cattle” for a reading presentation. Autographed books will be available for purchase.
Albion – 2 p.m. – Mix It Up! – Listen to stories and have fun mixing paint together into surprising outcomes.

Monday, July 14
Colfax – 10 a.m. – Senior Fit & Fun with Nancy Stanard – Low impact aerobic workouts. Cost is $5 per class. For more information, contact Nancy at (509) 288-1117.
Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Rocket fun with the Palouse Science Center
Lamont – 6:30 p.m. – Fun summer science program

Tuesday, July 15
Palouse – 9:30 a.m. – Messy Science with Dr. Katie Cooper
Rosalia – 2 p.m. – Bugs & Insects with Steve Van Vleet
Colfax – 4 p.m. – Extreme Science with Radical Rick of Spokane
LaCrosse – 4 p.m. – Energy Party in celebration of our last Summer Reading program.
Endicott – 6 p.m. – Bug Science with Steve Van Vleet

Wednesday, July 16
Oakesdale – 11 a.m. – Puppet Theater with professional puppeteer, Clay Martin
Garfield – 1 p.m. – Will it float or sink? – We will experiment and make predictions.
St. John – 1 p.m. – Wiggly Web Makers – Learn about 8 legged architects
Uniontown – 1 p.m. – Summer Reading & Science Fun
Tekoa – 2 p.m. – Puppet Theater with professional puppeteer, Clay Martin
St. John – 6:30 p.m. – Puppet Theater with professional puppeteer, Clay Martin

Thursday, July 17
Rosalia – 11 a.m. – Puppet Theater with professional puppeteer, Clay Martin
St. John – 1 p.m. – Science of Rockets with the Palouse Discovery Science Center
Farmington – 3 p.m. – Summer Reading Party!
