Thursday, July 17
Colfax – Noon – Gentle Yoga with Suzy McNeilly – Pay by the month or by the class.
Endicott – 7 p.m. – Book Club – Join the discussion of Jamie Ford’s, “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet.” Everyone’s invited.

Friday, July 18
St. John – 9:30 a.m. – Junior Summer Reading – A special reading program for younger children with activities and crafts.
Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & Learn – Creative play and sharing for toddlers, preschoolers and parents every Friday.
Uniontown – 10 a.m. – Lapsit Storytime – Infants age birth to 24 months are invited to nursery rhymes, tickles, songs and bounces.
Uniontown – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime – Share the excitement and love of reading, songs and craft time.

Saturday, July 19
Albion – 2 p.m. – Summer Reading & Science Fun

Sunday, July 20
Colfax – What began in 1889 as Washington Water Power continues today as Avista – An exhibit featuring the 125 year history of power generation across our region. This exhibit runs through the month of July during regular library hours.
Colfax – The Whitman Samplers are raffling a quilt to raise money for great causes. The quilt is on display at the library and tickets are just $1.

Monday, July 21
Colfax – 10 a.m. – Senior Fit & Fun with Nancy Stanard – Low impact aerobic workouts. Cost is $5 per class. For more information, contact Nancy at (509) 288-1117.
Colton Park (across from library) – 10:30 a.m. – Summer Reading Finale – Games, snacks, and goodie bags will be available for summer reading completers.
Palouse – 6:30 p.m. – How to Survive a Zombie Attack – What would you do if zombies attacked your town? Would you have the skills, supplies, and courage? Teens and tweens are invited to find out!

Tuesday, July 22
Palouse – 9:30 a.m. – Learn how the heart works with Charlotte Omoto
Endicott – 11 a.m. – Weather with Katie Stein from KHQ
Tekoa – 1 p.m. – Summer Reading Finale! – Great prizes available for summer reading completers.
Colfax – 2:30 to 6 p.m. – Community Blood Drive – Appointments are being taken by contacting the library at (509) 397-4366 or the Inland Northwest Blood Center at www.inbcsaves.org

Wednesday, July 23
Malden – 11 a.m. – First Wind Day – Learn about wind power, alternative energy sources and green energy technologies with Shawn from First Wind. We will be making pinwheels as well!
Garfield – 1 p.m. – Rocket fun with the Palouse Discovery Science Center
Oakesdale – 1 p.m. – Hands on Science with Judi Grey
St. John – 1 p.m. – Magic and Prizes with Magician Dick Frost – Goodies bags will be ready for summer reading completers.
Lamont Community Building – 6:30 p.m. – Magic Show with Magician Dick Frost
Colfax – 7 p.m. – Pajama Storytime – Children are invited to wear their jammies, enjoy stories and sing-a-longs under the tree.
Palouse – 7 p.m. – Ladies Night Out – Manicures available from Bridge Street Salon, mock-tails and a movie.

Thursday, July 24
Rosalia – 11 a.m. – First Wind Day – Learn about wind power, alternative energy sources and green energy technologies.
