WCL Calendar Sampling July 31-August 7

Thursday, July 31
Colfax – Noon – Gentle Yoga with Suzy McNeilly – Pay by the month or by the class.

Friday, August 1

Uniontown – 10 a.m. – Lapsit Storytime – Infants age birth to 24 months are invited to nursery rhymes, tickles, songs and bounces.
Uniontown – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime – Share the excitement and love of reading, songs and craft time.
St. John – 1 p.m. – Family Book Club & Movie – Come by the library as we discuss J.R.R. Tolkien’s, “The Hobbit”, and as a special treat, we will view the movie as well!

Saturday, August 2

Colfax – The Whitman Samplers are raffling a quilt to raise money for great causes. The quilt is on display at the library and tickets are just $1.

Sunday, August 3

Summer Reading participants through age 12 can exchange their completed Summer Reading log for a prize at any of the library’s 14 branch locations. Teen and Adult Summer Reading continues through the end of August. Completion forms can be accessed from the library’s website or by stopping in at any branch of WCL.

Monday, August 4

All fourteen branches of Whitman County Library will be closed for Annual Maintenance Week August 4-10. Many online services will still be available through the library’s website.
