We can help you download eBooks, research your family’s genealogy, find subject or homework resources, search and request from the online card catalog, navigate online databases, learn new software or basic computer skills, and a whole lot more. Book-a-Librarian appointments last 20 minutes and are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (limit of 2 appointments per month.) Ukulele Players wanted!
Grab your ukulele and attend the organizational meeting of the Ukulele Players of the Palouse or U POP on Sunday, June 23 from 2-4 p.m. in the Colfax Library.
Scott Hallett of Colfax is organizing this meeting with the hope of attracting players from all across the region. U POP is open to people of all ages and skill levels. From beginner to expert, U POP members will provide mutual support, share and play music, improve their skills and most importantly have a great time together.

Tablet computing and you!
With so many choices in tablet computing, do you wonder which is right for you? On Saturday, June 15 from 1-4 p.m. in the Colfax Library, Charles Snyder discusses everything from Apple iPads, and Google Androids to the new Microsoft Windows RT tablets. Participants will learn the basic skills needed to connect to the Internet, find and install applications and discover the accessories that can help you get the most from your tablet.
