Marcy Campbell was named Whitman County Library Supporter of the month during a surprise presentation at Footprints Child Care Center where she is employed. Rosalia Branch manager Karen Wallace and Whitman County Library Branch Coordinator Clancy Pool praised Campbell’s support of the library and children’s literature.
Campbell is the talented author of the Rosie books and has donated a number of these titles to the library district. She also volunteers her time as a guest reader for a number of children’s programs in Rosalia and during the Colfax Hullabaloo.
The Board of Trustees, administration and Friends of the Whitman County Rural Library District sponsor the Library Supporter of the Month award as a way to recognize those individuals and groups that play an irreplaceable role in supporting and supplementing the library’s budget and activities.
