The St. John Library is sponsoring a Babysitting Certification Course on Tuesday, August 13 from 9:00 to 3:00. This broad ranging class is designed for ages 9 to 17. Topics covered include: • Child development • Nutrition and special diets • Dealing with emergencies • CPR training with certification available for age 12 and older • Age appropriate activities • Advertising and business practices
A minimum of 10 students required for the class. Thanks to support from the Friends of the Library, cost per student is $15. Preregistration is required.

$15 registration fee is due no later than noon Monday Aug. 12.  Print material and class assignments will be available on July 31.
