Colfax, Lacrosse, Malden, & Tekoa – Preschool classes
teach valuable socialization and reading skills for age 0 to 6 and their
caregivers. Check the calendar or call your library for times and program

Colfax – 1 to 4 p.m. – Heritage Capital Projects - HCP
grants can cover up to 1/3 the cost of eligible capital projects that preserve
and interpret Washington’s history and heritage. Local organizations can learn
more about this grant opportunity and the skills needed to create a compelling
project and a competitive application.

Colfax, Endicott, Malden, Palouse, St. John & Uniontown
– Preschool learning continues at fun and educational events for children age 0
to 6 and their caregivers. Check the calendar or call your library for

Malden –6:30 to 8 p.m. – Teen Night – Activities for grade 6
and up.
Saturday – Sunday, November 14-15
Colfax – 1 - 5 Visit the library’s newest Rural Heritage
exhibit, Colfax Yesterday and Today in the lower foyer. The main floor features
the lovely artwork of Shellie Ochs and photography of Francisco Aguilar.
Monday, November 16
Colfax – Fitness Programs –Yoga, Bootcamp, Fit and Fun
programs for all abilities - Check the calendar or call the library for more
information.
The Center in Colfax – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Caregiver’s
Coffee Group with Melissa Johnson – Relaxed conversation about caregiving
topics. No registration required.
Tekoa- 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Guiding Good Choices - Parents
with children and teens of all ages can attend five classes, free of charge, to
enhance parenting skills. Pre-registration is required.
Tuesday, November 17
Colfax – Four different Yoga programs – Licensed instructors
lead a variety of programs for different levels and results. Call the library
for more information.
Endicott – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Play and Learn – Free play
and Socialization – Funded by Child Care Aware through The Department of Early
Learning.
Wednesday, November 18
Colfax Public Service Building – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. –
Medicare Supplement Help – Drop in for impartial help from trained volunteers
from the Washington Insurance Commissioner. Contact the library for additional
dates and locations.
Malden, Rosalia & Uniontown – Afterschool Art and
Learning – Check the calendar for times.
Thursday, November 19
Colfax – 7 a.m. – Coffee with Val – The public is invited to
bring business ideas to the Colfax Downtown Association.
Albion, Colfax, Colton, Farmington & Palouse –
