Malden & Endicott – Free help with Medicare from Joyce and
Daniel Leonard, this workshop will offer you impartial help with both current
and future Medicare recipients. Check
the Library Events Calendar for times.
Colfax – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Acrylic Texture Workshop with
Katie Frey in the Center. This fun class
will teach techniques to add deep sensuous
textures to your art. Learn to alter the consistency of your paint, attach
small objects, and distress and layer paper.

Rosalia – 7 to 9 p.m. – Teen Scary Movie Night at the
library! 6th through 12th
graders come in to the Rosalia library with your friends and watch a movie
while you eat some spooky treats!

– Join Fitness Boot Camp on a special
day and time in the Colfax Library's meeting room. Fitness instructor, Carissa
Little leads the session and will whip you back into shape with fast results.

Colfax & St. John – Professor Robert Bartlett will speak
about the Triple Nickle: Black Paratroopers from Washington State in WWII. Visit the Library Calendar for details and

Colfax – 5 p.m. – Mayors Round Table in the Center, this
meeting of area leaders is a great opportunity to share local issues,
developments and a fabulous meal. Sponsored by Avista and SEWEDA, contact Sarah

Uniontown – 6p.m. – Potluck and Bingo bring your favorite dish

Rosalia & Tekoa – Medicare assistance at the library,
offered by Joyce and Daniel Leonard.
This free and impartial program is a great opportunity to ask questions
and receive help whether you are a current Medicare recipient or looking at
your future options.

Rosalia & Tekoa – Triple Nickle:
Black Paratroopers in Washington State during WWII presentation by Professor
Robert Bartlett. Brought to WCL by
Humanities Washington, this talk is entertaining and informational. See the Library Events Calendar for times.
Endicott – 3:30 p.m. – Snakes
and reptiles in the library! Gordon
Wilson, from New St. Andrews College will be offering this fun free program,
come in and check it out!
Thursday, October 27
Colfax – 6 p.m. – Everybody
Reads Book Club, this years’ book is Painted Horses by Malcom Brooks. Come to the
library to discuss this great book with others around the county who have read
or are reading the book!
