Submissions Needed for Barn Calendars

Each year, sales of “The Barns of Whitman County” calendar support valuable programs and services in all 14 locations of Whitman County Library. Steve Van Vleet from WSU’s Whitman County Extension Department graciously donates his time and resources to produce the calendars but local photographs are needed to make this valuable fundraising effort complete.

The library is seeking donations of local barn photos to be included in the 2018 calendar. Proceeds fund everything from Summer Reading programs to children’s robotics equipment. 

Last year’s calendar sold out in just one week with special thanks going to photographers Ken Carper, Rod Schwartz, Jane Finan, Cierra Morris, Debbie Rochon, Ross McClure, Geoff Williams, Debbie Jones, Virgil Hanson, Susan Roberts and Cindy Glorfield.
