Here are a few facts about donating blood...
- Every 2 seconds, someone in the United States needs a blood product
- Although 60% of Americans are eligible to donate, only about 5% actually do
- One in three people will need blood sometime during their life
Walk-ins are on a first come, first serve basis. Photo ID is required. Donors should drink plenty of fluids and eat a meal at least two hours prior to arrival. The entire list of eligibility criteria can be found at www.inbcsaves.org
