July – August 31 – Adult Summer Reading – Read and submit reviews for 3 books to win a delicious specialty drink. Also, your name gets entered into a grand prize drawing for a Rosauers gift certificate. Sponsored by local businesses and Friends of WCL.
June 26 – 12-1pm – Summer Salads Cooking Class – Taste some great main dish salads and take home the recipes!
Mondays - July 1 – Aug 26 – 6:30 p.m. – Beginning Belly Dance, Have fun while you tone your body in this free class from Lynn Johnson.
July 9 – 7-8 p.m. – Adult Karate and self-defense - Come ready to learn and dressed to sweat for this hands on, free training. Adults and teens 14 and over (with a signed waiver) are invited to attend. A class for children 4-13 is set for 6-7 pm, this same day.
July 20 – 1-4pm – Archaeological Discoveries – Interesting class details the history of man, register online with CCS, see below.
July 22 – noon and 5:30 pm – Yoga Bliss – Dawn Bennett of Yoga Bliss instructs you how to incorporate simple yoga positions into your everyday tasks. Good for your body and soul!
July 26 – 9am-4pm – Learn to Mix Colors – This all day workshop for artists is provided through CCS, register online.
July 26-27 – Concrete River Days – UNI, mobile library for kids and a photography exhibit for adults called Our Palouse: the People, Places and Possibility. Exhibitors & volunteers are still needed. Contact Kristie at 509-397-4366 for details.
August 23 – 9am-4pm – Non-traditional Watercolor – This all day workshop provided through CCS, register online at address below.
Sep 12 – 7 pm –Meet the Artist early kickoff with accomplished artist and Colfax alum, Susan Russell.
