SUBJECT: UPCOMING LIBRARY CLOSURE
All 14 branches of
Whitman County Library are closed Friday May 15 for the annual All Staff
Training Day. According to Library
Director Kristie Kirkpatrick, “WCL traditionally closed one day in May, so that
staff from our 14 locations can gather to learn new skills and plan for summer
projects.” Due dates for library
materials have been extended in anticipation of the closure and no late fines
will be charged for these days. Drop boxes will remain open at all locations for
returned items. Access to the library’s catalog, downloadable audio and eBooks,
and other online resources including Consumer Reports are available by visiting
the library’s website at www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
For more information about library closures and upcoming community programs, click
