Albion, Colton/Uniontown & Palouse – Cecil the Magician – Cecil the Magician will exercise imaginations with a
45-minute magic show full of fantastic surprises and audience participation. See the Calendar for times.
Friday, June 24
Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & Learn – Creative play
and sharing for toddlers, preschooler and parents. Visit the calendar for times.
St. John – 11:30 a.m. – Early Learning Summer Reading – This summer Miss Trinette is leading four special
Summer Reading programs designed for age 0 to 4. All ages are welcome!
Garfield – 6:00 p.m. – Adult Coloring - Did you know that
coloring promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety and can help improve
your overall mood, along with many other benefits? Enjoy some coffee, conversation, and coloring. Bring your favorite coloring book or choose
from the pages provided.
Malden – 7 to 8 p.m. – Book walk for Adults – de-stressing, healthy walk at your own pace in the evening
as participants talk about books they are reading.
Saturday, June 25
Albion – 12 to 1:30 p.m. – Ball Court Spray Chalk – Come have some active artistic fun with games that
involve the use of chalk paint that sprays. Paint is easy to remove and does
not harm clothes. Let's do some jumping and moving while creating!
Sunday, June
26
Colfax – 1 to 4 p.m. – Ice cream social at
Perkins House - 44th Annual Ice Cream Social,
celebrating 130 years of the house and 146 years of the cabin. WCL will have a kid’s corner and Rural
Heritage table set up for patrons.
Monday, June
27
All Branches – Closed for System maintenance.
Tuesday, June 28
Palouse – 9:30 a.m. – Summer Reading Experience – Please join us for jump rope and Mancala. Trust
me it will be fun!
Endicott – 11 to 11:30 a.m. – Summer
reading Speed Challenge.
Colfax – 4 p.m. – Matt Baker Family Show – Comedy
& Variety Show! This
free program at the library promises to be a fun and funny experience.
LaCrosse – 6:30 to 8 p.m. – Adult Coloring Night – Enjoy some coffee, conversation, and coloring. Bring your favorite coloring book or choose
from the pages provided.
Wednesday, June 29
LaCrosse – 10:30 to 11:45
a.m. – Summer Reading in the City Park –
If the weather is bad we will be at the library. We will have a
special guest Jim Nelson and his Falcon.
St. John – 1 p.m. – Old Time Fun – Come learn how your parents and grandparents had fun!
Garfield – 1 p.m. – The Palouse Discovery Science center will be at the
library!
Malden – 7 p.m. – 50’s Fun – Kids of all ages (even those born in the Fifties!) are
invited to join in the fun and games at the library. There will be hula hoops,
jacks, and maybe even Elvis! Special prizes for 50s-Style clothes and hair-dos!
Thursday, June 30
Rosalia – 10:15 a.m. – 50’s Fun – Kids of all ages are welcome
to this fun event. Prizes will be given
for 50’s style clothes and hair-dos!
Tekoa – 12 to 1 p.m. – Summer
Reading musical fun in Tekoa with guest librarian and music teacher Lisa.
Make Pan Flutes and learn all about making music.
