Thursday, July 14
Rosalia – 10:15 a.m. – Library Records! – Participants work alone and in groups to set and break crazy records all around the library!
Tekoa – 12 to 1 p.m. – Robot fun – My Robots name is Ironman and you can build one in summer reading today!
Rosalia – 5 to 7 p.m. – Hit a homerun with Overdrive – Come to the library to learn how to use Overdrive on your e-reader, tablet or phone.

Friday, July 15
Malden & Rosalia – Cockroach Races & Other Buggy Fun – WSU bug expert Steven Van Vleet is bringing a collection of bugs, alive and dead, and would love to help you identify any bugs you would like to bring!  For times visit the library calendar at www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
Colfax – 6 to 9 p.m. – Voter Forum – The League of Women Voters is hosting the candidates from District 9.

Saturday, July 16
Rosalia – 8:15 a.m. – Library Book Walk for Adults – Meet at the library for a 30 minute walk around town for health and lively conversations about the books we are all reading!
Albion – 12 to 1:30 p.m. – Outdoor Art in the Park! – Learn about watercolor painting with local watercolor artist Kat Downes as she leads us on a walk with paints that will exercise mind and body.

Monday, July 18
Tekoa – 10 to 4 p.m. – Babysitting 101 – Students will learn CPR, choking, child safety, proper diet, and discipline techniques.
St. John – 1 to 3 p.m. – Teen Coding Camp – For grades 6-12.  <Coding Camp> Part 2 is a two-hour camp that introduces teens to robotics engineering with line patterning with RedBot.  Contact the St. John library to register at 648-3319 or visit the calendar at www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
Colfax – 3:30 p.m. – Caregiver Coffee Group – Caregiver Coffee Group meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month from 3:30-4:30 p.m. All paid and unpaid caregivers are welcome to attend the event is free.

Tuesday, July 19
Palouse – 9:30 a.m. – Summer Reading Party Extravaganza – This is an all-out party, playing, cake eating, face painting, prize getting day!!
Endicott – 11:00 a.m. – The Final Stretch – Suzy McNeilly will be at the Endicott Library to give instruction.
Colfax – 1 to 3 p.m. – Coffee Cookies and Coloring – Seniors are invited to come enjoy Coffee, Cookies and Coloring downstairs in the meeting room.  Materials are provided, feel free to bring your own and share too!
Colfax – 4:00 p.m. – Family Yoga – What better way to be introduced to a health & fitness regime than a YOGA class for kids and adults? Join certified Yoga instructor, Suzy McNeilly for basic Yoga fun for the whole family.

Wednesday, July 20
St. John1:00 p.m. – Kids Summer Reading Final Party – It's time for our last Summer Reading program.  Come for a party and pick-up your prize bag.
Garfield – 1 p.m. – Summer Reading Olympics – Just as it sounds there will be different events to compete in, lots of fun, and prizes to end our summer reading for the year.
Oakesdale & Uniontown – Ready Set Read – This year’s theme is On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!  Join the libraries for fun and fitness!
Colfax – 5:30 p.m. – Light Impact Exercise – offered for free by Lisa Johnson Shull this fun exercise class will keep you moving!
Malden – 7 p.m. – Final Inning – Join Kathy Wilkes to wrap up the kids' summer reading program with a fun and educational program about America's pastime...BASEBALL!

Thursday, July 21
Rosalia – 10:15 a.m. – Final Inning – Join Kathy Wilkes to wrap up the kids' summer reading program with a fun and educational program about America's pastime...BASEBALL!
Tekoa – 12 to 1 p.m. – Summer Reading Olympics – Celebrate the success of completing your summer reading goals with a NERF gun Olympics competition. Hula hoops of dread, Minion targets, CDs of destiny, and many other great games.
Colton & Uniontown – 1:00 p.m. – Gardening for Healthy Living – Join horticulturist Donna Guske Hansen as she explores the health benefits of forming a relationship with Nature, whether the scale of gardening is a few potted herbs on a windowsill in an apartment or vast acreage at the Uniontown branch library.  For more information call the Colton or Uniontown library at 229-3887 or 229-3880 or visit the library calendar at www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
Colfax – 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. – INBC Blood Drive – You may save lives by donating blood at the Colfax Library location. For friends, family and many other patients, you are truly a HERO! Contact the Inland Northwest Blood Center to register the time that is most convenient for you at www.inbcsaves.org.
