You are invited to celebrate the work of
Tom Mohr during a “Meet, Greet and Eat” reception on Friday, March 10 from 5-7
p.m. at the Center at Colfax Library. Guests will view Tom’s stunning exhibit,
“Why I moved to Colfax” while enjoying generous appetizers and a no-host beer
and wine bar benefitting the restroom project at The Center.
“Why I moved to Colfax” is a colorful exhibit of landscapes
and panoramas that answer the question Tom most often heard when settling on
the Palouse. Tom sees the reception as a way to talk about his relocation and
also, his special color technique he calls “painting with photography.” The
exhibit fills both rooms of The Center and runs through the end of April. All
images are for sale with a portion of the proceeds benefitting The Center
restroom project.
For more information, contact Kristie Kirkpatrick at Whitman
County Library, 509-397-4366. This event is generously sponsored by The Friends
of Whitman County Library.
