Informal Family Caregivers and Cared for Coffee Group, Center in Colfax

Melissa Johnson from Rural Resources is partnering with Whitman County Libraries through an Empire Health Foundation Grant to professoinally facilitate a free caregiver support group every first and third Monday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Center. Melissa will facilitate a support group where caregivers can come receive information, get support and network with other Informal Family Caregivers.
Sara Garza, from Whitman County Library, will provide companionship downstairs, in the library's meeting room, to any person receiving care, who would like to come play games, or do a fun activity. Every Monday, starting the third full week in August, the doors will be open from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Center, with coffee, snacks, cards, and chit chat.
