County Library will be closed for Annual Maintenance Week. Many online services
will still be available through the library’s website.

Summer Reading participants
through age 11 can exchange their completed Summer Reading log for a prize at
any of the library’s 14 branch locations. Teen and Adult Summer Reading
continues through the end of August. Completion forms can be accessed from the
library’s website or by stopping in at any branch of WCL.
Monday,
August 10
Oakesdale – 11 a.m. – Minecraft Meetup! –
Bring your device and meetup with others and learn what Minecraft is all about.
Center in Colfax – 3:30 p.m. – Caregivers Coffee
Group – Get support and network with others. All caregivers are welcome to
attend. No registration is required.
Albion – 7 p.m. – Book Club – Join the
discussion of Arianna Franklin’s “Mistress of the Art of Death.” Everyone is
welcome.

Colfax – 10:30 a.m. – Maintain Your
Brain Workshop – Fun and free informative workshop about common causes for
memory loss, strategies for staying sharp and when to seek help for memory
loss. For more information, contact Rural Resources at (509) 332-0365.
St. John – 10 a.m. to Noon – Tween Party
– Calling all 4th graders and up! The library is hosting a Wii U
party along with art activities, computer time and snacks.
LaCrosse – 7 p.m. – Join the discussion
of Paula McLain’s, “The Paris Wife.” Bring a dessert to share!

Colfax – 7 p.m. – Pajama Storytime –
Snuggle up under the tree in Hayden’s Corner for a fun family evening. Don’t
forget to wear your jammies!

Colfax – Noon – Flex and Flow Yoga with
Suzy McNeilly – Pay by the month or by the class.
