Magic,
laughter, education and entertainment sets the stage for Charles the Clown’s
reading program at the Colfax Library on Monday, June 29 at 4:00 p.m. This
family show is sponsored by the Friends of Whitman County Library.
Using
books right off the library shelves, this program highlights the joys and
usefulness of the library in a hilarious comedy performance with opportunities
for audience participation. With 30 years performing experience, Charles has
appeared on more than 75 radio and television programs, performed at the Roxy
Theatre on Hollywood's Sunset Strip, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, and
regularly at the hospital bedsides of seriously ill children. Charles is a
recipient of the King County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Humanitarian Award for
