Thursday, June 4

Endicott and St. John Schools Comics Can Take Us Places – Graphic novelist Megan Kelso demonstrates her artistic process. Funded by Humanities Washington and Whitman County 4-H. Please check in at the school office.

Colfax – 12 p.m. – Flex and Flow Yoga – Stretch your body and soothe your mind with Suzy McNeilly, certified instructor.  Cost is $10 per week or $35 for session.

Colton – 6 p.m. – Join the discussion of Garth Stein’s, “How Evan Broke His Head.” Everyone’s welcome.

Friday, June 5

Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & Learn – Creative play and sharing for toddlers, preschoolers and parents.

Saturday, June 6

Rosalia – 9:45 a.m. – Battle Days Children’s Parade – Join the Rosalia Library for the annual Children’s Parade. This year’s theme is “Super Heroes.”

Uniontown 1 p.m. – Summer Reading kickoff – Every Hero has a Story – Activities for age 2 to 12

Colfax – 10 a.m. – Fit and Fun Exercise – Enjoy a gentle warm-up, low impact aerobic workout, and a soothing cool down. Cost is $5 per class but instructor Nancy Stanard invites you to try your first class for free.

Thursday, June 11

Colfax Methodist Church – 12 p.m. – Climate Change: Whom Should You Trust? – Join educator Dr. Peter Haug on the topic of Climate Change in distinguishing fact from opinion, and determining creditable resources on this topic.  Peter has nearly 30 years of experience in educational impact analysis. Optional lunch is available for $12 by contacting the Colfax Library at 397-4366 by June 9.
